Death Valley Planning
Well I met with the guys last week and we decided that Death Valley would be our next ride. We are leaving in mid May for a week long trip that travels down the Sierra Nevada mountains to Death Valley and back to Oregon.Planning for our trip to Death Valley is proving to be a bit tricky. Since we are leaving in mid May the weather could be pretty cool hear in the Pacific Northwest but could be over a 100 in Death Valley. I will probably have to carry more just because I have no Idea what to expect from the weather. Do I take a heavy sleeping bag or a more compact bag, warm or mesh gloves, stocking or baseball cap, you get the picture. I will have to look close to the weather reports when we get closer to our departure date.
