My how time flies. It is hard for me to believe that it has been a full year since the birth of the Riding the Edge website. We have come a long ways since that first blank screen. The amount of our content has grown more than I thought was possible. We now have four photo galleries and more than three hours of ride and gear videos, with the addition of this blog with about 75 post since its birth in July.
Since I am not a web designer, the learning curve has been steep at times and the process continues. This site has given me some unique creative outlets, from creating my first calender from my nature photos, to making movies using my own video footage and original music.
Riding the Edge is not a revenue generator and thats okay. Of course the dream to make enough money to be out riding all the time is still strong, but the reality is I have to keep my day job.
The whole premise of the site was to share our motorcycle trips using video and photographs with my family and friends. I am a bit surprised at the number of people that have stopped by Riding the Edge. Since January we have seen over 60,000 hits. That translates to 2,255 people with about 4,000 visits from 24 countries. Wow! I don't think I have that many family members.
Once again thanks for dropping by and taking this journey with us, I look forward to seeing you out there riding the edge.
